- A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues - An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing - Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.
All delegates will receive the relevant materials and a certificate from Mental Health First Aid England. As our courses are currently on-line we deliver manuals and workbooks to your door. Please get in touch for more information.
This course is suitable for those who want to increase their understanding about mental health.
**Please be aware that this course covers subjects that some people may find distressing, including suicide and self-harm. If a delegate feels overwhelmed they can leave the course at any time.
Assessment There is no formal assessment for this course but delegates must complete all sections of the course.
Certification On completion of the course, delegates will receive a MHFA certificate

This course is suitable for those who want to gain the necessary skills to have a non-judgmental conversation, recognise the signs and symptoms of common workplace mental health issues and effectively guide a person towards the right support.

Our Adult MHFA Two Day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider.
Mental Health First Aiders have:
